Tuition for Security Officer Training must be paid two weeks prior to the class date or they will be considered a “Walk –In”. Walk In participants, If there is seating, must pay $50 in addition to the Tuition. |

State of New Mexico Contract Security Officer Licensing Program Pricing and Program/ Instructor Fred Behnken All these programs can be taken individually or with group rates. Payment must be made 7 days prior to the training or a %25 percent charge is added on the tuition if paid at the door. Tuition is nonrefundable but transferable at the discretion of the instructor. All programs include manuals and testing. Classes can be taken in parts to work with scheduling. Level I 8 hr training program in basic skills, $85 on publically scheduled classes only (ask about private group economical group rates) Level II Core program, is 14 hours of training, Communication Skills, Report Writing and Legal Aspects. $175, First aid is not included Level II endorsements in addition to level II core program

2. Unarmed Self Defense Skills with Handcuffing Certification 7 Hours,$175
3. Baton Class 8 hours,$125
4. OC Class 4 hours $85 includes OC agent
Level III Security Officer Firearms License
1. Basic security officer handgun qualification with concealed handgun certificate, 16 hours $225 ( special group rates available on all programs)( best deal in the state)
2. Range Shoot 5 hours $50, additional handgun endorsement and practice
3. Shotgun Qualification $150
4. Shotgun Recertification $150
Security Officer Continuing Education program 4 hours of mandatory approved training each year must be accomplished prior to annual guard license renewal. All RLD Licensed (Security Licensees and PIs) individuals are welcome to attend the above programs as a review of material for $50. A certificate of continuing education will be issued. By attending the last four hour portions of the level I or II programs a recertification for those endorsements can be obtained. Excellent Supervisor Training Certification is also available.
